8. Colourings 8.1 Colours dispaleyed on the customers computer monitor will most probably not match the printed colour on the cards. Some colours may print quite closely to what is seen onscreen, whereas others will differ. This problem stems from the fact that we're all using different monitors, at different resolutions and to accurately display the correct colour would entail the user in having a colour-calibrated system. plasticrfidcards can not be held responsible for the colours the customers computer monitor displays.
This colouring issue is unavoidable and we rely on your goodwill to accept this as a fact as we have no control over how your computer interprets the colours of any artwork supplied.
8.2 The colours on emailed proofs are a guide only.
8.3 Printing on frosted clear plastic cards can look less dense due to the semi-opaque nature of the frosted clear plastic cards.
8.4 The printing process used for the frosted clear plastic cards can create surface scratches on the plastic as it is fed through the printing machinery. When more ink colours are printed onto the frosted clear cards, more surface scratches will be on the cards as they have to be fed through the machinery multiple times for multiple colours.
8.5 The full colour solid plastic cards are printed in CMYK. We do not offer printing in Pantone colours.
8.6 Customers may require foil samples for foil printed cards (Frosted clear, satin black, white and metallic) if possible this will be subject to a £20 + VAT charge for each colour sample required. This is non refundable.
8.7 Our full colour plastic cards are printed using a CMYK printing process on each side of the card. This printing process has the same benefits and limitations as any CMYK printing process. Some images can appear 'dotty/grainy' click here to see an example and brief explanation.
8.8 A colour variation of the metallic base colour of our metallic plastic cards may occur from card to card and / or from batch to batch due to the printing process of the metallic base.
